Welcome
I’d like to welcome you to Lake Trails Presbyterian Church. Here at Lake Trails we are people, like you. We were created in the image of God - made to love, work, and play in ways that reflect the glory of God – His character and creativity. Though that is the way we were created, we refused to cooperate with God’s good design and along with every person who ever lived, our arrogant refusal of God’s goodness led us to a state of brokenness. In the end, instead of the joy and goodness God offered we ended up as lonely, unloving, fearful, driven, discouraged, and even ashamed individuals.
But there was one exception to this. The Bible tells us that Jesus lived a perfect life before God; he always cooperated with God’s commands. The Bible also tells us that Jesus came to be the means by which broken people like us could be restored to wholeness, to holiness, to God.
At Lake Trails, we are learning what it means to live in this new relationship to God that Jesus made possible by his life, his death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead. We are also experiencing the joy that comes as we are more and more renewed to wholeness and we would love for you to join us.
